Communication operation and setting

4.17.2 Initial settings and specifications of RS-485 communication 

(Pr. 117 to Pr. 120, Pr. 123, Pr. 124, Pr. 549) 

The following parameters are used to perform required settings for RS-485 communication between the drive unit and
personal computer.

Use PU connector of the drive unit for communication.

You can perform parameter setting, monitoring, etc. using Mitsubishi inverter protocol or MODBUS RTU protocol.

To make communication between the personal computer and drive unit, setting of the communication specifications
must be made to the drive unit in advance.
Data communication cannot be made if the initial settings are not made or there is any setting error.
