4. Electrical work

4.1.  Indoor unit (Fig. 4-1)

1.  Remove the electrical wiring service panel.
2.  Remove the electrical box cover.
3.  Remove the MA Remote controller terminal cover.
4.  Wire the power cable and control cable separately through the respective wiring 

entries given in the diagram.

•  Do not allow slackening of the terminal screws.
•  Leave excess cable so that the electical box cover can be suspended below the 

unit during servicing.(Approx. 50 to 100 mm)

4.2.  Power supply wiring

•  Install an earth longer than other cables.
•  Power supply codes of appliance shall not be lighter than design 60245 IEC 53 

or 60227 IEC 53.

•  A switch with at least 3 mm contact separation in each pole shall be provided by 

the air conditioner installation.

Power cable size : more than 1.5mm

 Use earth leakage breaker (NV).

For breaker, means shall be provided to ensure disconnection of all active phase 
conductors of  the supply.
