Alternatively, you can use the Windows Control
Panel to change the resource settings used by devices:
1. Click the
Start
button in the taskbar, then
Settings
, then
Control Panel
.
2. Double-click
on
System
, then click the Device
Manager tab of the System Properties dialog.
3. Select the device whose resources you want to
change, then click
Properties
.
4. Click the Resources tab of the device’s
Properties dialog.
If your device does not have a Resources tab,
either you cannot change its resources or it isn't
using any resource settings.
5. Click the resource you want to change, un-check
the
Use Automatic Settings
box, then click
Change Setting
.
Tip
In some cases, you may see a
Set Configuration
Manually
button on the Resources tab. You may have to
click this button before you can change resource settings.
