7.1.4 More Secure (WPA(2)-PSK)
The WPA2-PSK security mode is a newer, more robust version of the WPA encryption standard. It
offers better security.

or
WPA2-PSK
from the
Security Mode
field.

WPA Compatible
This field is only available for
WPA2
. Select this if you want the Router to support
WPA and WPA2 simultaneously.
Group Key Update
Timer
This is the rate at which the RADIUS
server sends a new group key out to all clients.
If the value is set to “0”, the update timer function is disabled.
Encryption
Select
TKIP
to enable Temporal Key Integrity Protocol (TKIP) security on your wireless
network. Select
AES
to enable Advanced Encryption System (AES) security on your
wireless network. AES provides superior security to TKIP. Select
TKIPAESMIX
to have
both types of security.
