Operation

Adjust the handle to a comfortable position and maintain

good balance as recommended in this manual.

Make sure the unit is assembled properly.

 WARNING

Hold the unit down firmly so you do not lose control

while cranking. If not held down properly engine could

not pull you off balance or swing the blade into an

obstruction or your body.

 WARNING

Thoroughly inspect the area where the unit is to be used

and remove all stones, sticks, wire and other objects

that could cause injury if thrown at high speeds.

 WARNING

Removing the cutter guard can cause damage to the

drive shaft/cable (not covered by warranty) and cause

serious injury to operator and others.

DO NOT use any accessory or attachment other than those

supplied by the manufacturer for use with this particular unit.

Use only for jobs explained in this manual.

Inspect the entire units before each use for worm, Loose or

damaged parts. DO NOT use until the unit is in proper

working order.

Pay attention to your surroundings during operation. Make

sure to maintain a distance of at least 15 m from anyone and

anything (e,g., pets and objects) nearby. This will protect you

and others from accidents and injuries caused by loose grass

and flying objects.

Do not touch the blade when the engine is running. This will

protect you and others from accidents and injuries.

 WARNING

To avoid serious injury, shut down immediately if the

unit starts to shake or vibrate.

This could be a sign of danger from broken part or

missing fasteners

 WARNING

To avoid serious injury after shutting down the engine,

keep fingers and feet away from the blade until all

rotation stops.

 IMPORTANT

The thickness of branches which may be cut using this

trimmer is limited to up to Approximately 5mm. Never

try to cut branches thicker than this, as doing so may

result in damage to the trimmer.

Precautions After Operation

 WARNING

To avoid serious injury, do not store the unit with fuel

tank, because a fuel leak could start a fire. Allow the

engine to cool before storing in any enclosure.

NOTE

Before cleaning repairing or inspecting, make certain the

cutting head has stopped.

Disconnect and secure the spark plug wire away from plug to

prevent accidental starting.

Use only recommended

genuine replacement parts to

avoid creating a hazard and/or

voiding your warranty.

Store in a dry area out of the

reach of children.

CATALYTIC CONVERTER

Catalytic Converter:

This small engine is equipped with a catalytic converter in the

exhaust system to significantly reduce exhaust emissions. The

catalytic converter converts carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons

into harmless carbon dioxide and water.

The catalytic converter requires special care.

Use only unleaded gasoline. Never use leaded gasoline.

Leaded gasoline significantly reduces the capability of the

catalytic converter.

Do not use 2-stroke oil that contains Phosphorus (P), Lead

(Pb), or Sulfur (S). These elements will reduce the life and

performance of the catalytic converter.

Before shutting the engine off, allow it to idle for a short while.

NOTE

Never stop the engine during operation while running above

idle speed.

Shut off the engine and allow it to cool before transporting or

storing the unit.

Do not put the unit on dry grass or near any flammable object

unless the engine is cold or cooled down.
