Blade Belt Replacement
1.
Remove the taper bushing that is highlighted in the below figure.

Remove the blade belt and shaft pulley at the same time. The belt is too short to
be removed from the pulley while the pulley is still mounted.
3.
Install the new belt in the appropriate position.
4.
Re-install the shaft pulley. Ensure that the spacer bushing is between the taper
bushing and bearing. Placing the taper bushing against the spacer ensures
proper belt alignment.
5.
Pry the tensioner indicated in the figure below to adjust the belt tension. The
play for the blade belt should be approximately 1/4 in.
