Installation and Use Manual – English
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:
1. Open the detector by unscrewing the locking screws A and B, position the base of the detector in the middle of upper jamb
of window or door to protect and mark the position of fixing holes on the wall. Drill the two holes by using a bit of Ø 5 mm
and insert the two dowels included in the package.
2. Place the base of the detector to the wall and proceed with the wiring:

WARNINGS:
•
Avoid direct sunrays
•
Avoid fixing the detector in spots exposed to atmospheric agents (rain, wind, big thermical changes ecc…)
•
Do not install near an air conditioner or heat exchangers that may cause temperature fluctuations
•
It is recommended to disable the anti-blinding function (DIP2 ON) in the presence of reflective objects, such as
marbles, mirrored surfaces, etc.
•
Install the detector at a distance of at least 5 cm from useful shutters / blinds / mosquito nets / windows
•
Where it is not possible to respect these distances it is recommended to disable the anti-blinding (DIP2 in ON)
IMPORTANT:
•
If you decide to use the transmitter with its battery, do not connect the output 1 and 2 of the sensor
•
If you decide to change the setting of the dip switches, proceed as follows:
1. shut off the power by removing the battery or putting DIP1 to OFF
2. change the dip-switches (see table 1)
3. wait at least 5 seconds before restoring power
