Inlet Strainer Cleaning
WARNING!
Isolate the electrical and water supplies before removing the cover. Mains
electricity connections are exposed when the cover is removed.
1.
Remove the three cover retaining screws and remove the cover and the service
tunnel.
2.
Use a suitable 24 mm A/F spanner to remove the hexagon nut on the inlet connector
assembly. Hold a wrench across the flats of the inlet connector assembly to prevent
damage to the connector, whilst removing the hexagon nut. Do not remove the 'O'
seal.
3.
Remove the inlet strainer.
4.
Clean all the inlet strainer with a stiff brush. If necessary use a kettle descalent in
accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
5.
Refit the components in reverse order.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Many household cleaners contain abrasives and chemical substances, and should not
be used for cleaning plated or plastic fittings. These finishes should be cleaned with a
mild washing up detergent or soap solution, and then wiped dry using a soft cloth.

instructions are provided. Before replacing any parts ensure that the underlying cause of
the malfunction has been resolved.

There are no user serviceable components beneath the cover of the
appliance. Only a competent tradesperson should remove the cover.
