tuRn the hOuRLy Chime SettinG On OR Off
1. In TIME mode press and hold the LAP/RESET button,
then press the MODE button.
2. The days of the week will disappear, this means that
the hourly chime is off.
3. To turn the hourly chime on repeat step 1, when the
days of the week appear the chime is on.

In TIME mode press and hold the LAP/RESET button, then
press START/STOP button. The image of the alarm clock will
disappear when the alarm is turned off.

USING THE STOPWATCH
1. Use the MODE button to find the stopwatch screen.
2. Use the START/STOP button to start/stop the stopwatch.
3. If you wish to use the LAP function press the LAP button
while the stop watch is running; this will stop the time on
the screen but keep the time going in the background.
Note: LAP function is useful for timing an ongoing activity
such as laps where you need to mark the interval times
but still the need the stopwatch to be running in the
background to capture the total time.
4. To resume press the LAP button again. you can repeat as
many times as necessary.
5. To clear and start again press the LAP button then the
START/STOP button and the LAP button again.

CHANGING THE BATTErY
MIO Times 1 takes a LR 1130 battery (available at
most drugstores).
1. If the display is dim or there is no display,
change the battery.
2. you will need a small eyeglasses screwdriver.
3. Remove the battery cover located on the backside.
4. Remove the old battery and replace with a new one.
5. Make sure the polarities are lined up.
6. Replace the battery cover and screw back in.
