Repacking the Printer
What's involved in repacking?

Turn off the printer.

Unplug the printer’s power cords and interface cables.

Remove the toner cartridge and store it in its original packaging.

Remove all media.

Deinstall the duplexer, 4-bin mailbox, and optional media trays (if
attached).

If you’re returning the printer for service, you don’t need to return
the accessories unless instructed to do so.

Pack the printer for shipment.
Before packing the printer and strapping it, verify that the actions described in
the following list have been completed.
