Installing the Face-Up Tray

Remove the face-up tray from its carton.

Gently bend the output tray inwards,
toward the printer, with both hands.
Align the insertion pins of the tray
with the pin holders of the printer.

Use the switch which is located on
the right-rear side of the printer and
select the output direction.
Note
• Whenever the face-up tray is not
installed on the printer, check to make
sure the set to switch for output to the
face-down tray (see above illustration).
• Never lay the face-up tray towards the
front of the printer or apply excessive to
it.
