light up or go out depending on whether you are
turning the unit on or off.
When you have installed and turned on the camera,
you can view the images and hear the sounds picked
up in your baby's room through the monitor.
5.2.2. INFRARED NIGHT VISION (AUTOMATIC)
The infrared night vision function allows the camera to
pick up images of your baby or the monitored area in
dark or low light conditions.
In this mode, only black and white images will be
displayed on the monitor and only objects located less
than 2 meters away can be seen.
The camera constantly monitors the light level and
automatically changes to infrared mode when there is
insufficient light for normal vision.
5.2.3. QUAD VIEW/CHANNEL (Figure 1 )
This baby monitor allows you to link up to 4 cameras
to a single monitor. Click on the icon on the main
menu (I) to access the submenu QUAD VIEW/
CHANNEL.
To choose the camera whose image you want to
display at any given time, click on the relevant icon
. You can also select the camera to be displayed by
clicking on the icon (g) on the home screen.
One of the main features of this baby monitor is that
you can view up to 4 cameras simultaneously, thanks
to its “QUAD VIEW” function. Simply click on the icon
and the screen will be divided into four parts, each
quadrant showing the image from one of the cameras.
From this moment onwards, only the camera which
appears inside the red frame will be heard. To listen to
the audio from another camera, push its picture. The
red frame will change position to be placed around the
new chosen camera.
If you wish to see one of the cameras in full screen
mode, press and hold the image for three continuous
seconds.
If you prefer the monitor to display the image of
each camera cyclically, click the icon
. To set the
auto switch parameters, access the option “auto
switch time” on the Monitor settings menu, which is
explained below.
Note 1:
Keep in mind that you won’t be able to select
the cameras that haven’t been connected to the
monitor .
5.2.4. NIGHTLIGHT (Figure 2 )
To turn on the camera nightlight, click the icon
in
the main menu (I). A submenu appears showing the
nightlight for each of the 4 possible cameras.
Click on the icon of the desired camera and the
bulb will turn on
and off as does the nightlight.
You can also turn the camera light on and off by
clicking the icon (i) on the home screen.
Note:
Keep in mind that you won’t be able to select
the cameras that haven’t been connected to the
monitor .
5.2.5. PAIRING CAMERA (Figure 3-4-5)
This product is designed to allow observation of
different areas with up to 4 cameras (channel 1, 2, 3
or 4 assigned to different cameras). The monitor and
the original camera leave the factory programmed
with channel 1. If you need to add an extra camera,
follow the following process.
After entering the Pair submenu, select the channel
in which you want to link the new camera by clicking
the relevant icon. Keep in mind that the cameras
that are showed in green have already been paired
to the monitor, the ones that haven’t, have a grey
background.
The icon will then change
and the ON/link LED
(1) of the monitor will flash green. Press the link
button (VI) of the camera and, if the process has been
carried out successfully, the icon will appear in green
in place of the previous one and the LED indicators
will light up green.
If linking is not successful, the icon
will appear.
In this case, try again with the same channel or with
another channel if necessary.
For various reasons, connection may be lost between
the monitor and a camera already linked. In this case,
repeat the process explained above to relink the
camera to the monitor.
5.2.6. CAMERA SETTINGS (Figure 6 )
You can configure the settings of each camera by
accessing the relevant icon.
5.2.6.1. TEMPERATURE ALARM (Figure 7)
With this option you can set the temperature display
in ºC or ºF and set an alarm that will alert you when
the temperature in the baby's room is outside the set
range.
To set the alarm, first select the maximum and
minimum temperature of the range and click on the
icon
, which allows you to enable or disable the
alarm.
You can also select how long the monitor will emit the
alarm signal, from the options available, by clicking
on the icon .
To change the temperature unit between Celsius or
Farenheit, click on the icon
.
5.2.6.2. TRANSMISSION POWER/VOLUME (Figure 8)
With this menu you can set the volume level at which
the parents' voice is played in the camera, by using
the two-way function. You can choose from 6 levels
(0-5) by pressing the + or – signs as required.
Moreover, from this menu you can change the power
level emitted by the camera, by choosing between
the high/low options. When placed in the HI (HIGH)
position, it covers a distance 230 meters in open
country with the original power. When place in the
LOW position, the maximum distance is reduced to
approximately 90 meters in open country and the
output power is reduced.
You can also control this feature from the home
screen. Click on the icon (j) and this will appear next
to the power level emitted (LO, HI). Changes made
directly on the home screen only affect the camera
that is picking up the images displayed.
