
TURNING OFF THE PEN
When the pen is in
Standby Mode
, hold the Record/Stop button
down for 3 seconds, the pen will shut down.
The unit will also turn off under the following conditions:
1.
The battery’s power is low (the blue indicator light will blink
for several seconds, and then the pen will save current data
and shut down automatically).
2.
The memory of the recorder is full (at this time, the blue and
green indicators will blink for several seconds, and then the
recorder will save data and shut down automatically).
3.
If there has been no operation for 5 minutes in Standby Mode,
the unit will shut down to save power.
SETTING VIDEO RESOLUTION
Three video resolutions can be set as needed: 1280x720, 640x480 and
352x288.
1. A sample file “framesize.txt” is included in the CD, you can open
this file to the root of the device and edit the source digit for
different video resolutions:

0 for 1280x720
;
•
1 for 640x480;
•
2 for 352x288;
2. The contents of this file will be only a single digit: 0, 1, or 2. It
will not include the actual resolution number.
3. Next you must save the file to the root directory of the pen,
when the pen is connected to the computer.
4. Disconnect the pen from computer, turn the recorder on and
the new video resolution will be automatically applied.
SETTING TIMESTAMP
The recorder has a real-time display, with the date and time being
shown on an image. To set or adjust the date and time, follow these
steps:
1.
A sample file “time.txt” is included on the CD.
2.
Save the file as a text file and it must be named “
time”
(all
lowercase).
3.
Edit a text file, the contents of this text file will only be
20091106153000
(Year – 2009, Month – 11, Day – 06, Hour – 15, Minutes – 30,
Seconds – 00)
4.
Save this file under the root directory of the pen memory
when the pen is connected to your computer.
5.
Disconnect the pen from the computer, turn the pen on, the
time will be automatically applied.
RETRIEVE THE FILES TO YOUR PC
1.
Plug the device into your PC using the USB cable
2.
Locate “Removable Disk” inside the (My) Computer folder
AutoPlay Removable Disk > Open folder to view files
