6. Charging:

Time setting: the DVR can display the recording time on the video file in the format of “year . month . day hour: min:
second” Such time can be set up as follows:
a. Create a notepad file with the extension name “time.txt” and enter a time as shown in the format 2009.07.15 16:10:28. Please
check the text formatting carefully to ensure the correct format. Or you can directly modify the CD-contained example file
and then save and apply.
b. Connect the DVR with a computer and copy “time.txt” into the root directory of the device after the PC automatically detects
the device.
c. Disconnect the hardware and start up the DVR then turn the device of again to immediately save the information.
d. The set time will be saved in the DVR.
8.
Rest DVR
: if for some reason the DVR stops reacting occasionally due to mis-operation or other reasons, please reset it by
gently pressing the button within the reset hole.
