
OPERATING THE PROFESSIONAL BUG DETECTOR WITH
VOICE VERIFICATION
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Allow the device to charge 4 – 6 hours before
using.
SETUP
1.
Adjust the Function Switch
B (Beep) will give you a beep indicator to help locate a
signal source
A (Acoustic) will detect voice/audio
V (Vibration) will allow you to covertly locate a signal
source
2.
Pull out the antenna
3.
Move the Power Switch up into the ON (1) position
The far left green indicator light will turn on
o
If any other indicator lights turn on the
sensitivity is too high
o
Adjust the sensitivity using the sensitivity dial
HOW TO LOCATE A SIGNAL SOURCE
1.
Setup and turn the bug detector ON
The indicator lights will light up (more lights mean a
stronger signal)
The device will beep/vibrate more slowly or quickly
depending on signal strength
2.
Move slowly around your environment following the signal
strength indications
3.
When you have found your source move the Function Switch
to A (Acoustic) to listen to any voice/audio
TROUBLESHOOTING
THE DEVICE WON’T TURN ON
Charge the device for at least 4 hours before the first use
Make sure the charging cable is securely inserted into the
device and into the power source
THE DEVICE ISN’T CHARGING
Replace the battery or charging cable
If you are charging via a wall power source, you may need to
charge via your PC. The AC adapter might be bad
THE DEVICE HAS CRASHED
You need to reset the device
THE SOUND IS UNCLEAR
The device needs charging
