3.9.5
For SSG-15G-RC, after clicking on the
“Update Firmware” button an alert will appear (see
). Click
Yes
to have the generator program shut down and a special Firmware upgrade Application
start, or
No
to return to the Generator program.
1.
Do not disconnect the generator or shut down the program while the firmware is being
updated. Doing so may damage the generator.
2.
Before clicking on ‘Connect’ verify you have a firmware upgrade file for the SSG-15G-RC,
once you start the upgrade process the old firmware will not function.
3.9.6
After the Firmware Upgrade application starts
click connect, the SSG firmware will shut
down and the Application will list the Firmware boot loader revision. Click on
“Load Hex File” button – a
browse window will open. Navigate to where you saved the upgrade file and double click on it, then click on
“Upgrade Firmware”
