4 Daily Maintenance

If ink is hardened and it cannot be wiped off with paper towel

STEPS:

Wear latex gloves and goggles.

Close the ink discharging cock of the ink tray (two positions for right and left).

Connect the hose with the polyethylene resin tank for drain.

Pour cleaning liquid of the clean kit into the ink tray and leave it as it is for 10 min.

Pour cleaning liquid slowly so that it may not spill out.
Pour cleaning liquid keeping within the dotted line indicated in the figure below.

Open the ink discharging cock.

Discharge cleaning liquid filled with the ink tray.

After discharging cleaning liquid, wipe inside the ink tray with paper towel.

Dispose the polyethylene resin tank for drain.

For disposition, perform the same process as the waste ink tank.

If ink in the ink tray is hardened and it is hard to clean it with paper towel, use the JV5-

320DS ink tray clean kit (A102879/SPC-0637) to perform cleaning.

Prepare two tanks for drain (commercial product of polyethylene resin tanks).
