For high speed printing with high densities, the variable dot technology with a maximum
dot size of 35pl is used (56.2m²/h with SS21/BS3/BS4, and 58m²/h with Sb53/SB54)

This gives the printer a wide coverage from high resolutions, to low resolution printing
with higher densities
