The Ultimate Lock 3200 Series Installation Guide

Hi,  I’m  Driller, the Install gorilla.

Congratulations on purchasing The Ultimate

Lock

®,

the finest deadbolt lock on the market.  The Ultimate Lock

®

 is engineered to be

a premium deadbolt locking system with multiple applications.  I’m here to make your in-
stallation go as slick as a banana peel.

I  must  be  hungry!

Just follow me and these

step-by-step  instructions.  We  will  install  The  Ultimate  Lock

®

  3200  Series  together

and make your home safer.

It  is  vital  that  your  lock  is  installed  properly  to

provide  the  maximum  protection  possible.

Read  these instructions completely

before  you  begin  the  installation

.

Remember after we finish, go online and register

your lock at the customer support site  below. From here  you can submit a ticket to
report questions or problems you may have.

a.

This lock is designed for a right- or left-handed door that swings opens

into the home or office

. The ex-

isting  deadbolt  should  be  installed  at  a  2-3/8"  backset  (Standard  residential  backset)  (centered  from  the
edge of the door).

b.

To provide maximum protection, The Ultimate Lock

®

should be installed on a solid 1-

3/4” thick wood door or on a steel-skinned, insulation, or foam filled door mounted in a double studded door
frame.

c.

If your door does not already have a deadbolt installed, we highly recommended that  you pur-

chase an installation jig kit for deadbolts and door handles. These kits include special hole saws, templates,
and other aids to simplify the installation process. If your door has a metal skin, be sure your kit includes Bi-
Metal hole saws to cut the steel door.

Note:

If your door jamb/frame is steel,

do  not  remove  the  hinge

screws!

See step 2. Please call customer service for more information before starting an install involving a

steel frame door.

Before we get started, please read the entire instructions.
