Metronome mode
There are 50 memory locations available
in the metronome mode. Settings can
be made using the BEAT and PATTERN
displays.
1. Press the [MEMORY] button. "MEMORY"
will flash. Rotate the [TEMPO/VALUE] dial to
select a memory location 1 to 50.
BEAT: The values for TEMPO, rhythm,
VOICE and BEAT are set using the BEAT
display.
2. Press the [TEMPO] button, "TEMPO" will
flash. Rotate the [TEMPO/VALUE] dial to
adjust the value. Tempo range: 30 to 250
beats per minute.
3. The following four rhythms are available:

Every rhythm corresponds to a
master volume slider by means of which you
can adjust the volume and edit the rhythm.
4. Press the [VOICE] button. "VOICE" will
flash. Rotate the [TEMPO/VALUE] dial to
select one timbre from the five choices.
5. Press the [BEAT/PATTERN] button, "BEAT"
will flash. Rotate the [TEMPO/VALUE] dial to
adjust the BEAT value. BEAT range: 1 – 8,
1+1 – 8+8. Press the [BEAT/PATTERN]
button again to change to the PATTERN
display.
PATTERN: The values for TEMPO,
PATTERN number and the volume of the
respective drum sounds (KICK, SNARE,
HI-HAT, OTHER1 and OTHER2) are set
using the PATTERN display.
6. Press the [PATTERN] button."PATTERN" will
flash. Rotate the [TEMPO/ VALUE] dial to
adjust the PATTERN value. Range: 1 to 50
(1 to 30 are factory preset rhythms, 31 to 50
are user settings). Please refer to the rhythm
edit section.
7. Press the [VOICE] button to change to the
BEAT display.
8. When parameters are changed, "EDIT" will
appear on the display. Press the [WRITE]
button. "MEMORY" will flash. Press the
[WRITE] button again. "MEMORY" will flash
quickly. When it stops, the current param-
eters are stored. If you want to exit the menu
without storing the modified parameters,
press the [START/STOP] button after you
have pressed the [WRITE] button for the first
time.
