EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) is a built-in
memory module used for storing data that should be saved when power goes
off. The 24AA01 circuit may store
1Kbit
data and uses serial
I2C
communication
to exchange data with the microcontroller.
