Selecting a programme
To add detergent with the help of
the dispensing recommendation fea-
ture, follow steps

below before loading the drum.

Switch on the washing machine
Press in the I-ON/0-OFF button.

Open the drum door
Press the
Door
button and open the
drum door.
The washing machine is switched on. If
the programme selector is at
Finish
, the
light ring around the programme selec-
tor will flash to remind you to select the
programme required.

Select a programme
Turn the programme selector to the
required programme.
The
Detergent %
indicator light comes
on. As the drum is empty, the display
will not yet show any number.
If a number is showing in the dis-
play and the drum is empty, rotate
the drum once. If the display still
does not go out, press the button
above the START button until the
number goes out.

Load the drum
Unfold the laundry and load loosely
in the drum. To achieve best results
it is advisable to make up mixed
loads consisting of both large and
small items. This improves the wash-
ing effect and helps distribute the
load evenly to keep the machine
stable and reduce the noise level
during spinning.
The display shows the amount of
laundry loaded as a % (in 25% steps).
Loads of less than 25% will not register
in the display.
If the amount of laundry exceeds the
maximum load, the display will flash.
Overloading causes creases and re-
duces cleaning efficiency.

Close the drum door with a gentle
swing.
Make sure that no garments are caught
between the drum door and seal.
The
Detergent %
indicator light comes
on and the amount of detergent re-
quired for the programme selected is
shown in the display.
