External condensed water out-
let
Note
When drying is in progress, con-
densed water is pumped into the con-
densed water container through the
drain hose which is located at the
back of the dryer.
The condensed water can also be ex-
ternally drained away via the drain hose
at the back of the dryer. This means
that the condensed water container no
longer has to be emptied.

Danger of condensed water
back-flow.
Water could flow back into the
tumble dryer or be drawn into it.
Back-flow water could damage the
tumble dryer and also the room in
which it is located.
The non-return valve should be used
if the end of the hose is immersed in
water, or if other water connections
are installed.

valve fitted: 1.00 m
Installation conditions requiring the fit-
ting of a non-return valve:
– Drainage into a sink or floor gully
where the end of the hose is im-
mersed in water.
– Connection to a sink drain outlet.
– Connection to a drainage system
already in use by another appliance,
e.g. a dishwasher or washing ma-
chine.
If the non-return valve is incorrectly
fitted the appliance will not drain.
The non-return valve has to be fitted
with the arrow on it pointing in the
direction of flow.
