Fault

Possible cause

Remedy

The drum door opens
during a programme.

The machine has
overheated. The
temperature limiter opens
the drum door causing the
machine to switch off
automatically.
The fluff filters and/or the
heat exchanger might be
blocked.

Clean the fluff filters
and heat exchanger
as described in
"Cleaning and Care".

If the drum door opens during operation again there
is a technical fault. Contact the Service Dept.

The

q

indicator light

comes on.

Check to see whether
there is a blockage or kink
in the drain hose.

Make sure the drain
hose has no
restrictions.

Observe the max.
delivery head.

After cleaning the heat
exchanger, water leaks
from the machine.

The cover on the heat
exchanger has not been
closed properly.

Close it correctly. If
necessary remove it
and then replace it.

Water droplets appear
at the upper edge of
the drum aperture.

A double filter system
with dual insulation
prevents fluff from being
deposited in the heat
exchanger.
This can lead to the build
up of condensate.

Laundry being
removed from the
machine may come
into contact with these
water droplets. They
will, however, dry off
in a matter of minutes.
