Many malfunctions and faults that can occur in daily operation can be easily
remedied. Time and money will be saved because a service call will not be
needed.
The following guide may help you to find the reason for a malfunction or a fault,
and to correct it.
The display indicates the following messages or faults
Message
Cause and remedy
The drum is empty
or the laundry is too
dry.
lights up after a
programme has
been cancelled.
This is not an error.
In some programmes, if the drum has been under-
loaded or is empty, the programme will be cancelled.
This can also happen if the items are already dry.
Open the door and check the laundry.
Add items if necessary.
Close the door to resume drying.
Dry individual items using the
Warm air
timed drying
programme.
Power outage. Pro-
gramme stopped
There has been a power outage.
When power is resumed, confirm with
OK
.
Touch the
Start/Stop
sensor.
Open bottom right
grille, clean the heat
exchanger
lights
up at the end of a
programme.
The cooling fins behind the grille of the heat ex-
changer can become blocked with dust and dirt
drawn in from the surrounding area and the airways
can become blocked with fluff.
Clean as described in “Cleaning and care” – “Bot-
tom right grille/heat exchanger”.
Also check and clean the filters in the filling area
and in the plinth.
To clear the message: Touch the
OK
sensor.
