The partition wall must be at least
16 mm thick.
If the partition wall between the two
appliances is
between 16 mm and
160 mm thick, each appliance must
be built into its own niche using the
assembly parts supplied.
In this case only the side wall heating
mat
a
from the side-by-side installation
kit needs to be fitted to prevent the
build-up of condensate between the
appliances and any consequent
damage.
Using a side wall heating mat will
increase energy consumption.
If installed as shown in the example in
the bottom right hand picture you must
take the thickness of the furniture door
fronts and handles into consideration to
prevent the risk of damage when both
appliance doors are opened.
To install the appliances side-by-side
you will need the following tools
:
– a Torx T 20 screwdriver,
– a Torx T 20 bit with magnetic holder,
– an adjustable spanner.
You will also need
– Various other bits,
– Material to place underneath the
appliances to protect the floor from
damage,
– Adhesive tape.
