Stainless steel fronts
Stainless steel surfaces can be cleaned
using a proprietary non-abrasive
cleaning agent designed specifically
for use on stainless steel, or with the
Miele E-Cloth.
To help prevent re-soiling, a proprietary
conditioning agent for stainless steel
can also be used. Apply sparingly with
an even pressure following the direction
of the grain.
The appliance front is susceptible to
scratches and abrasion.
Avoid:
– cleaning agents containing soda,
acids or chlorides,
– abrasive cleaning agents, e.g.
powder cleaners and cream
cleaners,
– abrasive sponges, e.g. pot scourers
or sponges which have been
previously used with abrasive
cleaning agents.
Stainless steel coloured controls
The controls may suffer
discolouration or damage if soiling is
left on them for too long. Remove
soiling straight away.
The appliance controls are susceptible
to scratches and abrasion.
Avoid:
– cleaning agents containing soda,
acids or chlorides,
– abrasive cleaning agents, e.g.
powder cleaners and cream
cleaners,
– abrasive sponges, e.g. pot scourers
or sponges which have been
previously used with abrasive
cleaning agents,
– stainless steel cleaners,
– oven sprays.
Roasting filter
Clean in a solution of hot water and a
little washing up liquid or in the
dishwasher.
If cleaned in the dishwasher results are
better if it is placed horizontally in the
basket.
Some dishwasher detergents may
cause the surface of the metal filter to
discolour. This discolouration will not
affect the functioning of the filter in any
way.
Roast probe
This should be wiped clean with a
damp cloth only.
Do not put the roast probe into wa-
ter, or clean it in the dishwasher.
