The ignitor does not
function properly.
The breaker in the building’s wiring system has
tripped.
Contact a qualified electrician or Miele Customer
Service if necessary.
There is food residue stuck between the ignitor and
the burner cap.
Remove any soiling (See “Gas cooktop cleaning
and care”).
The display is dark.
There is no power to the oven.
Check if the breaker has tripped. If it has, contact
a qualified electrician or Miele Customer Service.
The oven does not heat
up.
You have only selected an operating mode or a
temperature.
Select both a mode
and
a temperature.
The system lock
is activated.
Switch the system lock off (see “Using the oven –
Operating the clock/timer”).
There is no power to the oven.
Check if the breaker has tripped. If it has, contact
a qualified electrician or Miele Customer Service.
Demo mode is activated.

The oven can be operated, however the heating
elements will not work.
Deactivate demo mode (see “Using the oven –

There has been a power failure.
Reset the time of day (see “Before using for the
