Suitable cookware for M Chef
functions
Metal
Metal dishes such as springform tins,
baking tins, roasting pans and pots are
all suitable.
In the M Chef functions metal lids
reflect electro-magnetic waves and
hence prevent cooking.
Roasting pans and pots must be
used without a lid or with a glass lid
with M Chef functions.
Some materials can cause sparking.
Do not use aluminium foil, metal
cutlery or crockery with a metallic
finish (e.g. gold rims or cobalt blue)
Glassware
Heat-resistant glass or ceramic dishes
are suitable.
Porcelain
Porcelain is a suitable material.
Exception: Do not use porcelain with
gold or silver edging, cobalt blue, or
items with hollow knobs or handles,
as insufficient ventilation may cause
a build-up of pressure.
Roasting bags and tubes
Roasting bags and tubes are suitable
for use with M Chef functions. Please
follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Fire hazard!
For tying the ends, use string or
plastic clips only, or paper ties that
do not have wire running through
them.
Plastics
Plastic containers and plastic
disposable containers may only be
used with M Chef functions if they are
heat-resistant. To protect the
environment, we do not recommend the
use of single-use containers.
Do not leave the Dialog oven
unattended when heating or cooking
food in disposable containers made
of plastic, paper or other
inflammable materials.
Plastics must be heat-resistant to a
minimum of 150 °C. Otherwise the
plastic may melt and fuse with the
food.
Only use plastic containers that are
heat-resistant (ovenproof).
