Danger of burning
You could burn yourself on the hot
charcoal filter.
Do not take the charcoal filter out of
the oven while it is still hot and do
not place it on heat-sensitive sur-
faces while it is hot.
Do not refit the charcoal filter in your
cooker hood whilst still hot.
Leave it in the oven compartment un-
til it has cooled down.
Refit the charcoal filter once it has
cooled.
Resetting the charcoal filter operat-
ing hours counter
After the charcoal filter has been react-
ivated, the operating hours counter
needs to be reset on the cooker hood
control panel.
Remove the grease filter.
With the fan switched on, press the
operating hours button
twice,
then hold it for approximately
3 seconds until only
1
is flashing.
The charcoal filter symbol
will go
out.
If you want to reactivate the charcoal fil-
ters
before
the operating hours counter
has reached its maximum:

ton
twice and hold it for approx-
imately 6 seconds until only
1
is
flashing.
Replace the grease filter.
Service life
The charcoal filter should be replaced
every 3 years.
Charcoal filters are available to order via
the Miele online shop, the Miele Cus-
tomer Service Department (see end of
these operating instructions for contact
details) or from your Miele dealer.
The model designation required is listed
under “Technical data”.
Disposing of charcoal filters
Used charcoal filters can be disposed
of with normal household waste.
