Changing the light bulbs

Before changing the light bulbs, dis-
connect the hood from the power
supply by either removing the fuse,
unplugging it, or manually "tripping"
the circuit breaker.

When in use halogen bulbs become
extremely hot, and they can burn
your hands. Do not attempt to
change the bulbs until they have
had sufficient time to cool down.

Do not touch the bulb surface. Fin-
gerprints or body oils deposited on
the bulb will decrease the life of the
bulb. Please follow the bulb manu-
facturer’s instructions.

^

Pull the old bulb out of its socket us-
ing the enclosed lever. Replace it
with a new one. Be careful not to
drop the bulb on the cooktop.

Replacement bulbs may be ordered
from Miele’s Technical Service De-
partment.
