Chapter 4: Battery Test

The tester will guide you through the steps of selecting your battery test parameters and interpreting 
the results. Before you start the test, review the instructions in 

Chapter 3: Test Preparation

1.  Select the battery LOCATION.

 OUT OF VEHICLE

 IN VEHICLE

Press the 

NEXT

 soft key to continue. The 

BACK

 soft key returns you to the Main Menu at the 

start of the test and to the previous screen as you progress.

2.  Select the Ah value

Read the value from the battery and confi rm with 

ENTER. 

Press the UP/DOWN ARROW or 

enter the value with the keypad.

3.  Select the BATTERY TYPE.

 REGULAR

 VRLA

 3  SPIRAL

 GEL

 Press

NEXT

 soft key to continue.

4.  Select the BATTERY STANDARD

 CCA

 JIS

 3  DIN
