4.6 The Standby Control 

While the refrigerator is opera ng, press and hold the SET key for 3 seconds, and the 
refrigerator will enter standby 

 mode. The standby indicator will light up, and all 

se ngs will stop working. 

While the refrigerator is in standby, press the SET key, and the refrigerator will resume 
normal opera on. In 

 since the refrigerator is now opera ng normally, the standby 

indicator will turn itself o

4.7 Duct Panel Opera on 

1.

The

 se ngs are 3 on the refrigerator control 

panel and MID on the freezer temperature control dial. 
2. If the ambient temperature is less than 10 degrees,
the recommended refrigerator control panel se ng is 4 
or 5 with the freezer temperature control dial at the 
COLDER posi on.   
3. If the ambient temperature is higher than 43 degrees,
the recommended refrigerator control panel se ng is 4 
or 5 with the freezer temperature control dial at the MID to COLDER posi on. 

TIP: Leaving the freezer temperature control dial on the COLD se ng will help keep food cold 
in the freezer. However, leaving the control dial on the cold se ng for an extended period of 

me may cause items in the refrigerator to freeze.

 

5. CLEANING

5.1 Defros g

5.2 Cleaning the Interior and the Exterior of the Unit 

Remove  all  the  shelves  and  the  vegetable  and  fruit  drawers.  To  remove  the  drawers,

remove the lower door shelf.

Wipe the inside of the unit with a warm water and baking soda solu on and then rinse with
warm  water  using  a  sponge  or  cloth  once  you  wring  the  excess  moisture  out  of  it.  Wipe
completely dry before replacing the shelves and the vegetable and fruit drawers.

Use a damp cloth to clean the exterior, and then wipe with a kitchen appliance wax or a mild
liquid  dish  detergent.  Dry  and  polish  with  a  clean, 

  cloth.  Make  sure  that  the  door  is

closed to avoid the kitchen wax ge ng on the magne c door seal or inside the unit.

The  grill  of  the  condenser  at  the  back  of  the  unit  and  the  adjacent  components  can  be
vacuumed  using  a 

  brush 

achment.  Before  cleaning  the  condenser,  turn  the

temperature dial to 0. Then sweep or vacuum up the dust.
