ON THE GROUND
If primary aircraft power to the unit is lost, the unit will
immediately begin operating on internal battery power. When
this occurs, as a result of normal landing and shut-down procedure,
the unit will recognize that there is minimal airspeed and determine
that the aircraft is on the ground.
At the end of each flight, the
unit will display a warning message (Image 31).
The unit will begin counting down for 60 seconds and turn OFF
automatically.
If continued operation is desired, turn the Control Knob to highlight
ON and press to select. Select and press the OFF option to turn the
unit OFF immediately. If you would like to turn the unit OFF after
acknowledging the ‘Remain On’ option, enter the Options Menu
and select the Power OFF action (see Power OFF, page 28).
