STEP 11.
Use the supplied template to position and mark where spears will be installed in screen. The smallest spear will mount
at the top cut out section. The longest spear will mount at the bottom. Make sure all the spears are all the way forward
and flush with the screen. Enlarge holes carefully as needed with drift or punch.
STEP 12.
Remove double-stick tape backing from spears. Carefully align & when inserted in screen and level, then press down to
secure in place. Figure 2.
STEP 13.
Remove template for use on opposite side.
STEP 14.
Install nuts on spear studs to lock in place.
STEP 15.
Apply fresh double stick tape to inner panel and press in place.
STEP 16.
Align inner liner and reinstall retainers.
STEP 17.
Move to the other side and repeat above operations.
STEP 18.
Reinstall front wheels and hand-tighten lug nuts.
STEP 19.
Remove jackstands.
STEP 20.
Lower Corvette and torque lug nuts to factory specs.
