Please read complete instructions for side cove screen and side spear before installation.
PLEASE NOTE:
Side cove screens must be installed before side spears can be installed. Wheel removal is optional.
DIRECTIONS FOR SAFE AND PROPER APPLICATION
STEP 1.
Park Corvette on a level surface and set parking brake.
STEP 2.
Loosen lug nuts on front wheels
STEP 3.
Follow factory instructions for jacking up front of vehicle.
STEP 4.
Place jack stands as recommended by factory or owner’s
manual.
STEP 5.
Remove lug nuts and front wheels.
STEP 6.
Fender liner is attached at rear with four retainers. Use screwdriver to gently pry out center of retainers to remove.
Remove 7 & 10mm screws from base of panel.
STEP 7.
Pull liner out of the way to access side cove.
STEP 8.
To remove inner cove “cup”, pull away from fender. It is attached with double-stick tape.
STEP 9.
Open alcohol swab packet and wipe down edges to provide clean surface for new tape.
STEP 10.
Use the supplied template by placing it over the side vent and aligning it with the fender edge. Figure 1.
