Print

Printing from desktop apps hasn’t changed. To print from a Windows Store app, open

the Devices charm, and select your printer. For more info, see

Close a program

To close a Windows Store app, drag the app off the bottom of the screen. Or, if you’re

using a mouse, move the cursor to the top of the screen and click the Close

button

programs

Open the Apps view: slide up from the middle of the Start screen, or tap the arrow

near the lower-left corner of the Start screen.

Install apps and

programs

Install Windows 8 apps from the Windows Store – just tap or click the tile on the Start

screen or the Windows Store app in the desktop taskbar. For info about this, see

Change date and time Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and tap or click Settings > Change PC
