3. INTRODUCTION
3.1 Scope
This document describes the O026 controller. The device has been manufactured for
the specific use in three
-
phase motor speed controls using an appropriate number of
inputs and outputs.
3.2 General description
The controller is composed of an electronic board provided with a set of connectors
joined to a dissipating aluminium plate. The connectors allow the board to connect
with various devices, mainly consisting of:
Command console
, manufactured in various versions and with a high degree of
customisation
.
Communication interfaces (power line carrier, dedicated card adaptor, etc.)
User (three phase motor)
3.3 Protection
The device is equipped with the following protection:
Software against overheating (100° on the IGBT model).
Hardware against overload and short

circuiting
