PM Control By APM
When enabled, power management is controlled by the
Advanced Power Management (APM) feature, which
gives better power savings. The default setting is YES.
Video OFF Method
This selection defines the video off method in standby
mode. The following table describes each option:
Video OFF After
Select the mode in which you want the monitor to blank.
The default setting is Standby.
Modem Use IRQ
Select an IRQ setting to be used by the modem if Resume
by Ring is enabled.
Doze Mode
After the selected period of system inactivity (1 minute
to 1 hour), the CPU clock runs at slower speed while all
other devices still operate at full speed.

SYNC+Blank System turns off vertical and horizontal
synchronization ports and writes blanks to the
video buffer.
DPMS Support Select this option if your monitor supports the
Display Power Management Signaling
(DPMS) standard of the Video Electronics
Standards Association (VESA). Use the
software supplied for your video subsystem to
select video power management values.
Blank Screen
System only writes blanks to the video buffer.
