Android Lollipop 5.0 has made the lock screen more interactive and
updated with features that range from personal unlocking (which
allows trusted devices like a smartwatch to pair with your phone so
you can bypass any lock screen security that is set up if you're
wearing a trusted device) to notifications accessible from the lock
screen.
In addition to the unlock icon and the camera icon, Lollipop also adds
the dialer icon to the lock screen.
