Basically, you have 3 completely distinct groups and one group that contains all the athletes together, so
each athlete will be in two groups: that of the category to which he or she belongs, and the general one.
Suppose that Junior, Absolutes and Master start together, i.e. with the same Start, but the rankings will
obviously be done separately.
At the start, you will start group 4. That means that you will assign the same start time to all the athletes.
Groups 1, 2 and 3 will have no start time, but the bib numbers within them will, as they are also in group 4.
When we show the arrival times for the individual athletes, the ranking will not refer to group 4, but to the
first three groups (all with a number less t
han 4, and therefore more “important”).
