2.8.2 NOR Flash
The SST25VF016 is a 2 MB NOR Flash, as shown in Figure 2-18. The PIC32 micro-
controller uses a SPI bus interface to communicate to the SST25VF016. The CPLD
needs to be properly configured for the PIC32 microcontroller to be able to access the
SST25VF016. For configuration information, see
Section 2.12 “CPLD” .
