Chapter 2. Hardware
This chapter describes the hardware features of the BM62 EVB. The BM62 EVB
includes a range of peripheral components, as shown in
Figure 2-1 .

2.1 HARDWARE FEATURES
The following list provides the details of each component in the BM62 EVB. For
detailed information about the location of these components, refer to
Figure 1-2 .
2.1.1 Power Supply
Users can supply power to the BM62 EVB using either of the following options:
• Li-Ion battery
• USB (PC host over USB)
Note: While using the BM62 EVB for codec testing and application, it is
recommended to use Li-Ion battery due to limitations of the power drawn
from the USB port of the PC.
