If the capacity of the original CD exceeds that of the blank CD, the system will give off two
beeps, then the “MODE” LED shows fixed red and ”STATUS” LED will flash green
simultaneously. When TEST is completed the system will give off three short beeps sound, and
the “MODE” and “STATUS” LED will flash red simultaneously.
3.3 ERASE (re-write) Function
To Erase CD-RW discs, please follow these steps:
1. Do not insert any Master CD in the CD-ROM drive.
2. Insert the CD-RW Media in the CD-Recorder.
3. Push the “TEST” button. The system will give off four beep sounds and automatically erases the
CD-RW Media.
4. After the erase is completed, the system will give off the sound “Do La Do” and “PWR” LED
shows solid green. The “ MODE” LED will flash green and orange. The “ STATUS” LED will
flash green. The CD-RW drives will eject the media.
5. If the erase fails, the system will give off three short beep sounds. The “PWR” LED will be
solid green. The “MODE” LED and the “STATUS” LED will flash red.
NOTE:
If you need to erase only one piece of CD-RW media, please put the disc into the first CD-RW
drive, otherwise, the system can’t find the CD-RW disc.
