During operation glottal stops can occur. This isn’t a failure. The noise originates
as a result of thermal expansion of the heater and the heating plate.
Don’t touch the reflector with the hand, don’t put flammable materials onto the pan.
The heating element (ring) is positioned below the heating plate. Directly above the
ring of the heating element, the heating plate will get hotter than in other parts of
the heating plate.
After use switch back the temperature regulator to "OFF"
first pull out the plug from the plug socket and remove the
automatic temperature regulator not before cooling off the
appliance.
Attention:
Due to the temperature sensor of the
temperature regulator is still hot after use,
first let the appliance cool down

Caution danger of electric shock! Never immerse the appliance, cord and plug into
water. Always disconnect the appliance from power supply before cleaning to avoid
risk of electrical shock.
Caution danger of burning! Always let the appliance cool down enough before
cleaning and storing.
NOTE: none of these parts are suitable for the dishwasher !
Before cleaning or storing pull out the mains plug and let the appliance cool down.
Don’t use abrasive cleaning agents or scrubbing sponges to clean the pan surface!
Remove food residues after use at still warm condition with a wet cloth or paper
towel. In case of tough fouling cook up again the pan with some water.
Never use cleaning agents,
nylon brush or metal brush !
Never immerse the pan into water or wash it under running water. Water can
intrude into the appliance and cause damage to the electric parts inside.
Clean the pan with a soft, sponge slightly damp and little soap suds, wipe again with
sponge slightly damp with some clear water and dry carefully with a soft cloth. After
drying apply a thin film of cooking oil onto the surface.
Clean the cap with a soft sponge and a little bit of rinsing-agent. Never use thinners,
gasoline, cleaning agents or chemical treated cloths as the surface could be damaged.
Clean the automatic temperature regulator with a soft paper towel or a dry and soft
cloth. Never wet clean the automatic temperature regulator unit. Electric shock or burn
can occur if it comes into contact with watyer or liquid. Never immerse the plug or cord
into water!
