Safety instructions:
Please read and observe the following safety instructions before using the heating mat.
•
The product must not be covered during operation.
•
The product must only be used indoors.
•
The product must never be used in the bathroom, sauna or other humid rooms or
environments.
•
Animals must be prevented from biting or chewing on the product.
•
The product must not be walked on with wet feet.
•
The conversion or modification of the product is not permitted. Caution: There is a risk of
injury!
•
Modifications or repairs to the product may only be carried out by the manufacturer or persons
authorised by the manufacturer for this purpose.
•
The product must be operated from an easily accessible socket so that it can be quickly
disconnected from the mains in an emergency.
•
The product must be handled with care. It may be damaged by shock, impact or dropping.
•
The product should not be exposed to moisture or extreme heat.
•
The product must never be immersed in water or other liquids.
•
When the product is not in use, store it in a dry place.
•
Before storing the product, it must be completely cooled down.
•
The heating carpet must not be bent or rolled up too tightly/tightly. No objects may be placed
on the carpet during storage.
•
Before each use, check for signs of wear or damage to the product.
•
This item is not intended for use in hospitals.
•
No needles, nails, screws or other sharp objects may be inserted into or through the heating
carpet.
•
The heating mat must not be used when rolled up.
•
Persons in need of assistance, children and temperature-sensitive persons may only use the
product under supervision.
•
The product must be kept away from fire and must not be used in combination with other
heating products.
•
The product must be taken out of service immediately if it becomes wet. It must be dried with a
cloth.
•
The product must not be washed in a washing machine.
•
The product may only be cleaned with a damp towel. The heating carpet must not be connected
during cleaning.
•
Replacing the control unit is not allowed.
•
The Euro mains plug should never be touched with wet hands.
•
The unit must never be operated outdoors or in rooms with high humidity.
•
Do not pull on the unit's cable. Always touch or pull directly on the Euro mains plug.
•
The power cable should not be kinked, pinched or run over, or come into contact with heat
sources or sharp edges. The cable should be laid in such a way that it does not become a
tripping hazard.
•
If possible, the product should be operated without an extension cable. If this is unavoidable, a
GS-tested, splash-proof, single (no multiple sockets) extension designed for the power
consumption of the unit should be used.
