
Items Needed
1.
50 ohm cable with UHF connectors
long enough to reach the antenna
from the Multicoupler.
2.
50 ohm jumper cable with UHF
connectors to go between the
Multicoupler and the receiver.
3.
If the receiver has different
connectors than UHF then an adapter
that will go between the radio
connector and the cable.
4.
Mast or tripod to support the loop.
Basic Wiring
Mounting
Use the two supplied U-Bolts to secure the loop to your mast as shown. Your mast
should be no more than 1-3/4 in diameter and should be sturdy enough to support
the MFJ-1888 antenna.

Caution
Do not use a grounding type antenna switch on
the Antenna line from the Multicoupler to the
Loop.
Any lightning protection must have DC
continuity between the input and output and
must not have a DC path to ground.
Any shorting of the line will damage the
Multicoupler.
