TIPS FOR ACCIDENT
PREVENTION
Only transfer into or out of the seat
when the electric travelling wheelchair
is switched off and the selection lever
drive-/push mode on both sides is in drive
mode!
An unintentional movement of the joy-
sticks (driving and steering lever) can oth-
erwise lead to an uncontrolled start of the
electric travelling wheelchair! – Danger of
accident!
In case of physical limitation, such as
blindness, a driving ability certifications
for independent driving of the electric
wheelchair is required.
First driving practice
☞
A low speed is to be selected on the
control panel for first driving practice.
Get accustomed to the driving behav-
iour of the electric travelling wheelchair
step by step.

Carry out a short braking and steering
test at a very low speed immediately
after the start of motion.
Safety information
☞
Curves and slopes are to be carried out
at adapted speed. – Danger of over-
turning.
☞
There is a danger of tilting when driving
backwards on ramps!
☞
Do not switch off the operating mod-
ule while driving. This will switch off the
electric travelling wheelchair and cause
it to stop immediately.
☞
The driving behaviour can change by
adding or removing accessories/com-
ponents.
☞
Do not submit the electric travelling
wheelchair to extreme whether condi-
tions.
☞
Temperature influence through lamps,
sun and other sources of heat can dam-
age the upholstery and revetment or
heat it up so much, that it can cause
burns when they come in contact with
bare skin.
☞
Protect bare as well as heat sensitive
skin accordingly.
☞
For safety reasons, mobile phones
as well as other transmitting devices
should only be used when the electric
travelling wheelchair is switched off.
