C - Mounting and isolating the F sockets
• The socket must be screwed on the aluminium flat strapping. Ensure
there is not one bit of the braid in contact with the coaxial cable.
• When you have finished mounting the product, do not forget to isolate the
LNB with isolation paste or silicone gel (see photo below).
Attention! Badly or non isolated LNBs are not covered by the warranty.
D - Mounting the LNB
The LNB must be positioned vertically (image D2).
In either case, never remove the protection cap.
E - Pre-programmed channels and satellites
Your terminal TouchBox8 comes with major satellites scheduled in your
area: Astra 1, Hotbird and Turksat. However, it has a list of satellites to enlist
the desired satellite. Some satellites need dishes of different diameters,
which can not receive them with a smaller diameter dish, even if the satellite
appears in the list of pre-programmed channels.
These channels will guide your dish to the satellite you want to capture.
The azimuths and elevations of features required by the diameter dish in
Spain, for each satellite.
