4 CONNECTING TO THE UNIT
4.1 Initial Serial Connection
The unit is equipped with a standard RS-232/V.24 terminal interface presented on a
9-way female D-type connector (NT1003, NT1005) or RJ45 connector (NT10G05).
The D-type connector uses the standard DCE pin-out, allowing direct connection to a
PC serial port or USB serial adaptor. The pinout of the connector is shown below:
